OMONew Exhibition : DesignArt Tokyo 2022 (UNDER 30 -Karyn Lim) Time : October 21st -30th 2022 Venue : Shibuya, Tokyo Exhibition : Tokyo Design Week 2016 (Debut Exhibition) Time : November 2nd-7th 2016 Venue : Meiji-Jingu Gaien Mae OMO is a collaboration piece between Indonesian designer Fani Atmanti and Singaporean designer Karyn Lim. Blending traditional Indonesian materials and craftsmanship with a contemporary concept, this duo brings an edgy twist to Asian craftsmanship. The geometric Omo Bag brings a little ‘surprise!’ when transformed from its flat two-dimensional to its exciting three-dimensional state. Made from Afoa wood native to the Nias island in Indonesia, this bag hopes to keep traditional craft relevant to a homogenising global culture. PRODUCT INQUIRIES /PURCHASE : CONTACT HERE |
