Yogyakarta-born architect who has a huge interest in world cultural heritage,
especially Indonesia and East Asia. Fani Atmanti has always been close to “traditional and
contemporary”. She has worked on many projects in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Jinan, Suzhou,
Kinmen-Taiwan, and some cities in Japan which are
mix from those traditional-contemporary elements.

FANI ATMANTI April 2022 - now Doctoral program in World Heritage Studies (Univesity of Tsukuba ) Lab : Uekita Yasufumi Lab Co-founder and Designer at Tremendum (2021- now) Senior Designer at Sou Fujimoto Architects Tokyo (2019-2022) SFA projects : House in Kanagawa, Tokiwabashi Torch Tower, Expo 2025 masterplan, Shenzhen Reform and Opening-Up Exhibition Hall, Tokyo Toilet Nishisando, Kinmen County Museum and Library (competition). Designer at Santai Furniture (Yats Coccon Project) (2019) graduated from Master student in Tsukuba University Japan on March 2018, major in World Heritage Studies and receive 3 awards from Tsukuba university at the graduation. My research is about structural genius of Bawomataluo Village Architecture and its adaptive reuse.
